Same as title: I'm looking for some sort of PCI sound card and some ddr-400 ram, specifically in a 2 x 1 gb dimm set. My AXP has only 512 MB and its current onboard sound has died. I need this as cheap as possible.

Meanwhile, my AXP just needs more RAM and a discrete sound board (onboard one died) and it's golden. I might just decide to switch my little sister again. After posting in the for sale/trade section about the sound board, and 2 x 1 GB ddr-400 dimms if anyone has them.

I just grabbed a Mint x64 w/ MATE ISO while I was at school. Gonna set up setup probably on my dad's old 2 GB flash drive (the ISO was a little over 1.2 GB). From there I'll put it on my laptop.

That'd be nice, only I already spent the money - - and after S&H, that price'd likely skyrocket. What I did was I bought two 8 GB USB sticks (for OS installing purposes), a new keyboard for the laptop, and a new external mouse for the laptop, as the one I'm using now is on loan from my mom.

Now, not only do I have Lubuntu as a secondary on my GX270, but I also have it as my main OS on my laptop! I had to update my wifi hardware's firmware to get it working.
