    Who's using Mozilla?

I use Mozilla on one system with Mozilla mail. On another system, I'm using FireFox. I have a few versions of each installed plus different versions of Opera. I don't seem to stick with just one. :)

    News: XP SP2 is out

I would expect that most of the people who come across this issue with their personal systems would not blame the DVD decoder, and instead claim that some other piece of hardware (like the hard drive) has failed.

    Athlon64 3000 - who's taking the $215 plunge?

I have really learned to like the Gigabyte GA-7VT600-RZ board. Pretty simple, not too many extra frills, and certainly no extra fans. The only quibble has been the poor clearance between the memory slots and AGP slot. But this has become a moot point for me.

    Revenge is sweet

Do you think that it is the personal action of taking revenge that is satisfying, or the hope that things will be better because revenge in general has been executed? We certainly wouldn't want a society where everyone was a Dirty Harry, but people tend to lack hope because major issues are not...

Have a random amount of current running through the ball, so when it is touched it could either leave a mark or be played as normal. And what is with all of that dirt and those cleats? How about a nicely polished wood floor and socks -- try taking the corner at 3rd base with that setup...

WD HD question which are FDB?

The all-black cases do not signify that the WD drive is FDB. I just had two in my hand, one all-black and the other silver-and-black, both are FDB. The center screw hole for the BB motor will be missing on the top plate of the FDB endowed drives. The new black top plate is probably some...

In general I find that Australians have a broader vocabulary base then Americans, and a more colorful way of expressing themselves. This seems to be the case with the English, or I’m just a buffoon and have been spell bound by their accents.

WD SATA issue (maybe). Just a heads up

No, I haven't moved completely to SATA, unless the build includes multiple drives, such as for photo-type work. If I'm configuring a single EIDE/ATA drive and a single optical drive, then parallel stills seems the best way to go - its easier during the build cycle and will provide less hassles...
