SSDs - State of the Product?

The peak of my audio interests was in the late 60s to the early 80s. I had all sorts of equipment, probably 10-12 tape recorders including the big 10 1/2" TEACs, Revox, Sonys, etc., and various turntables including a home-built 16" one. I used a lot of SAE, Marantz, and Sansui pre-amps, amps...

There is nothing funny about natural disasters that cost billions of dollars and ruin people's lives. They should put all the political pricks in the eye of the hurricane next time and see if they think it is hype. I just hope the next time that preparations are not scaled downward and the...

It would be a good time to get all your UPS units in position. The longest power failure over 24 hours I had to endure was in the 1994 Northridge quake, but the damage and lack of water forced me to relocate for some days even after the power was restored. I have tons of LED flashlights, extra...

It is not a plot, it is news. Perphaps this hurricane is emphasized more than some others because the storm path is on the east coast and potentially affects large numbers of people and the national capital. I'm sure it more interesting than most of the live crap on the TV like politics...
