I had the 9700, not the NT and eventually threw it in the trash. I did not know there was one with the 4-pin option. :( Now I don't need it since that computer is not so overclocked. Does the 9700 series cool better than the 9900 series?

It looks like there are screws for the fan supports. That one uses a 3-pin fan, so use it with lower-powered systems for low noise or crank it up manually for cooling. I prefer this one which has four pins for auto control. It is pretty quiet until the load increases (980X).

What is wrong is not in doubt, but the cause is uncertain. The possible treatments vary from being quite dangerous to some real crackpot ideas. All those pizzas did not help. :hurl:

Yesterday I heard a home theatre setup with five in-ceiling speakers and a subterranean woofer. The directionality of the sound was weird to say the least. The speakers in the bedroom were Ok for the background music, etc.

The 3TB Hibachi drives work fine on the LSI 9211-8i with the latest firmware.

We found one in 1971 and it is still around. She had to have some surgeries over the years, etc. but is doing well this season. Many species slow down and hibernate in the autumn.

It does not look so easy to replace one drive at a time as in a normal case.
