I thought the 75GXP already had command queuing? What am I missing here? Is Hitachi in control of IBM's business yet? I though they IBM was transferring 80% of the business over to Hitachi shortly after the sale went through last year.

One thing they need to work on is making the "Start Menu" customizable. Ya, I know there is a way to do it. But, it should be as easy as in Windows. Would it really be that hard to have an option to add shorcuts and delete unused ones?

I feel the same way as you Mark. That's why I bought a LaserJet 5. This thing will probably outlast me. Since I don't print all that much, it will easily work until computers no longer have parallel ports...Then I will put a JetDirect card in it and still be able to use it.

Can someone please tell me how to use Grub, because when I rebooted I get the Grub command line. I have no idea what I am supposed to do with this. If I type boot it tells me there is no kernel loaded. If I type kernel, it tells me I need to give it some args. I really just want to boot back...

That was a really easy install. This is being posted from Mozilla in Lycoris. Mozilla seems to run pretty well, but it's not the snappiest OS I have used by a long shot.

You can get Toners on eBay for way cheaper than that. I got toner for my LaserJet 5 for less than $30 last week. It's not a HP branded, but it seems to work just fine.

I can't believe anyone would believe that you can actually fix a hard drive by hitting it on something. Well, I guess if the bearings have locked up you might be able to jar them. Now, putting the drive in the freezer that's a good trick.

Got the card today, for some reason the driver disk didn't come with the Win2k drivers on it. So I had to download the drivers. The card was picked up fine by windows but the optical out would not work without the Guillemot drivers. The optical out does quite good, I don't know if I can tell...

It's good to know that it has good drivers and works with Via chipsets. I was using a coax out on my SB Live! and it was working but it kept locking up so I pulled the Live! and hasn't locked up since. I only paid $31 shipped for this card, so it's not too big of investment...

All the maps from Unreal 1 were included in UT. There were a lot of maps from UT that I really hope are included. If they aren't then I bet some dedicated users will recreate them.
