    Unreal Touranament 2003

Ping time was probably the most important thing when I was playing UT online a couple years ago. I would win probably half the time when I had a good connection, but when the connection started to suck then I had a much harder time competing.

That is by far the best line in the article. Pretty impressive performance, but I'll reserve judgement until SR has a chance to review the drive w/SATA.

I found that you can just type what you want to search for in the address bar and hit alt-enter to do a google search. Pretty simple, so my solution is solved.

Seems good to me. I think I will start using it. Thanks for the heads up e_dawg! I don't actually read the SR computers section anymore because it all seems boring for some reason.

    Unreal Touranament 2003

I updated my video drivers and I actually got the game to run. It locked up so I changed the sound to safe mode and it ran fine. I plan on getting rid of the Live and just using the onboard sound with an optical out (SPDIF). Game seems pretty good. Though my Radeon 7000 sucks.

    Unreal Touranament 2003

I downloaded the demo and it won't run on my system. I play UT a lot back in the day and would like to try this game out. It won't play in safe mode or regular mode. I didn't try anything else after that.

I kinda doubt that, maybe it is just standard operating procedure for the place that is reselling the printer. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2053075252 http://www.cheaphpprinters.com

I bid on a LJ 5 with only 6000 pg count. It's going for $200 and the place is right in Madison so I can $45 on shipping which is nice. It has also been totally reconditioned new rollers and pickups. Should last me awhile if I win the auction.

I was looking to get a used 4si because you can get them for a little over a $100, but I found that they weigh over 100lbs. Guess I will go back to looking for a LJ 5. Thanks for the explanation Pradeep.

    Need advise on printer

Mark, since you seem to be very versed in the Laserjet series I was wondering how much better the LJ 5 prints graphics over the LJ 4. I print graphics once in a while and the 6L prints graphics just fine for the times when I need graphics. So does the LJ 5 print graphics as well as the 6L?

    Need advise on printer

I think I am past the point of fixing this printer. I don't know if it is only the rollers that need to be fixed, it could be something entirely different. Plus, I would like to get something bigger, so the next time I move I will get the carry it. :)

    Need advise on printer

Is the Laserjet 5 a very good printer? Or would it be a better idea to buy a Laserjet 4? What kind of page count should I look for? Olbviously lower is better, but what is too high? We have a Laserjet 5 at work and it works great other than the fact that it takes too long to warm up. My 6L...

I have a HP Laserjet 6L which has been great for the last 5 years or so up until last year when the rollers started to go on it. It has gotten pretty bad. Unless it is loaded up almost all the way with paper it will grab 20-40 sheets at a time. I paid $400 for this thing awhile back and it...

I always hear of people having IE crash on them but I don't think I have seen IE crash on me in a couple years. Not since before 4.0 was common. It's not like I don't push it either, I usually have between 5 and 20 instances of it open on my machine.

This is OT, but I want to say it anyways. It seems people are always complaining about the American culture being forced down the throats of people all over the world. Would you like fries with that order, sir?

Check the date on them Doug. A lot of the ones I have also look really new. Most paper money is used and put out of circulation within 2 years. However, with $2 bills people are less likely to spend them so they probably just appear more new. I could be totally wrong on this though. This is...

    Cultural moments

I don't think that $2 bills were always rare. My grandma always used to give me them when I was younger. Unless she just collected them over many years. I still have most of them somewhere. I should probably hang onto them, I don't think they are being made anymore.

    Your pets, and mine.

At the office I get frequent visits from giant wasps. These are the biggest wasps I have ever seen. About 1.5 inches long, they fly real slow but they make a ton of noise and there is no way in hell I would want to get stung by one of them. So I am forced to kill them. The best way is to use...
