Looking for text editor that can do math

I would use excel and write a macro do to it. If you have any experience coding it wouldn't be a very hard excersise. Here is some sample code that you can try out. It probably won't work perfectly but it will give you some ideas. Private Sub SampleMacro() Dim i as integer, flag as...

    Getting married...how to merge computers?

I doubt you will find any in slot 1. But you can get an adapter for about $15 or less. I used one for over 2 years and never had a problem with it.

Right now I pay $5.50 a month for 100MB of webspace and 2GB of transfer/month. How can your service compare with this one? I have service through them until May 12, 2003. But, after that I am up in the air for my service.

Thanks. It's really nice for e-mail and when I want to show friends pictures and the like. Plus I only pay $15 a year for the domain and about $5 a month for the webspace.

    Desktop video performance with nForce1

Just wanted to add that I have built systems around the A7N266-VM before and never had a problem with them. However, I have never used any of these systems extensively. The main reason I like it is that it has onboard video, sound, lan, and it's cheap. Plus installation went like a snap for...

    Desktop video performance with nForce1

I am wondering how desktop video performance is with the nForce1 chipset. For instance, how would it compare to an ATI Radeon 7000 or an nVidia Geforce4 MX440? No 3D software of games will be used. The primary use of the system is as a business system. Will there be any user discernable...

    Replacement for Word, and Excel

Just to get this back on topic... A spreadsheet is just about useless to me without macro capabilities. I like to be able to do things using code in Excel. I am always writing simple VBA code to do things that would take me many times longer to do by hand. I do not care about writing macros...

    Replacement for Word, and Excel

The two things I need in a word processor is a good spell check, and secondly a good grammar check. My writing needs lots of corrections and without these two things, my writing starts to suffer. So other than Word does any other free package have a grammar check?

    "Fleet computer challenge"

I don't care whom manufacturers Palo Alto's cases. I don't care if I can buy a metal Palo Alto case. The ones that Dell uses are primarily plastic, especially in the case of the dirt-cheap computer, which we are discussing here.

    "Fleet computer challenge"

I haven't ever used a Sun case. Palm Pilots aren't meant to be opened. Dell chooses the Palo Alto cases for several reasons. 1) They are cheap. 2) They are light and therefore cheaper to ship than an all steal case. 3) They are a big company and can meet the demands of Dell. What's your...

Rail-based cases are good? What country are you living in? In my experience rails are the biggest PITA when dealing with cases. What happens when I lose the rails? Half the time the computer doesn't even come with enough rails to fill all the bays. Then it is time to start searching for...

Thanks Doug! Just wondering if you could add 'Black Soul'? I will be forever grateful... One problem I see with the lord of the rings theme is that all the button's text is black and the buttons are black so I can't see what the buttons say. Is there anyways to fix this easily?
