Bloody Red Hat 9.0 can't find path to C compiler

Shit happens. After upgrading gcc to version 3.2.2, it seems to work. I really, really love Linux. And they ask me why I still use Windows..... :o Note : the compiler that comes with RedHat 9.0 release (2.9.6) doesn't work at all. Very useful, isn't it?

    2 gems of

Hi there! Long time no see! This week my notebook is dead, but even then, I'm not depressed. In fact, Compaq and Université Laval (the place where I study and work) gave me something to laugh at. First of all, my notebook was overheating. I mean, after 15 minutes of a normal use (the...

Compatibility problem between Voodoo3 PCI and K6-2 system

Well, thank you all! In fact, there is no silver heatsink, only a black thing that gets very, very hot in 2 minutes. We tried to put it in a different slot, and it still doesn't work. I don't really know what should I do to solve the problem of this machine, but anyway, I think that it is too...

    Moving day and furniture

As I am a student, I have still a lot of friends that live not too far away. Beer + pizza = a bunch of helpers, here... But I strongly recommend that you hire someone. He won't be as clumsy as someone who never do this job, and he will be able to guide you . I second the garage sales...

    Cougtek is down

Nope. He doesn't have one. In fact, I don't think he has any modem :) Excepting the cable modem, of course. He'll be back online today, I think... I hope that Videotron employees will act like adults in the future... not like frustrated kids.

    Cougtek is down

If any of you wonder, Cougtek can't access to internet for the 2nd day. Some unsatifacted employees of Videotron simply cut the cables, putting down 800 000 customers (Videotron provides TV and internet cable.) Many companies are down, too... And after that, some people ask why I'm against...

    Windows? Insecure?

And this is only what we see and know, Mercutio. I'm a developper, and I know how things are made... and it is less then uncomfortable. If they admit that there is a security hole and that they can't do anything about it... imagine what's not yet dicovered. I don't really blame the guys who...
