    Utter weirdness with Access

Under Tools>Options>Tables/Queries there is a section where you can switch the permissions from User to Owner and visa versa. There are other things in the options, but you are smart enough to have gone through them already.

You're welcome SG. You should be fine doing office tasks with that much memory. You should even be able to accomplish basic Photoshop tasks easily. I do most of my Photoshop work on a PIII 1.2 GHz, 512MB PC-133 SDRAM, and a ATI 9000 video card outfitted system.

SG, with NT based operating systems, the amount of RAM you have can easily be gobbled up by services. By leaning out your services, you can reduce the amount of memory required. But as a rule, I start at 512MB. Beyond that amount, you're really supporting auxiliary programs, so you would need...

Any operating system based on NT requires oodles of RAM and a large swap file (preferably on a different channel for ATA).

    Can format my RAID drives

You have the drivers installed and they work fine? Drivers are only designed as a bridge between the operating system and the hardware. They are not required at the BIOS level. Thus, if you have the drivers installed, then are we to figure that you have the operating system installed? In...

    Can format my RAID drives

Yes, as flagreen mentioned. The volume will be recognized by Windows XP in disk management if the driver for the controller is properly installed. Also, why would you want to usd FDISK on a partition this large? You would be limited with FAT32 which is poor at handling large file sizes.
