WHY would anyone pay 400-600 for a 3g phone?

Yes, that doofus. Some people at work have exchanged their BB for the Verizon kind. I still have the old one.

That is nice to know. However, I don't buy reels of ethernet cable or anything nearly so heavy. Are the mono cables of decent quality?

WHY would anyone pay 400-600 for a 3g phone?

Oh my, you two play nice. :) What about that Verizon dude on the TV wearing glasses and always having some signal problem?

What trap? I did not buy one. I can accept a slow notebook with a wretched display.

    Something Random

Really? The ones I've seen look really nice, clearly better than any PC notebook I've seen. I don't know about the internal components.

I have not used the monoprice for cables. Are they a reliable vendor? Prices are quite low.

WHY would anyone pay 400-600 for a 3g phone?

So what does an ordinary person choose with a reasonable long term TCO (phone+device) that incorporates the e-mail, web and phone?

Do the credit card warranties do on site service? I need some kind of extra warranty, because a 46" TV is too large to deal with, even if it fails in the warranty period.

    question Larger TVs

Mainly the audio often has too much dynamic range so I like to compress it quite a bit. Otherwise the louder sounds are crazy and then the dialog is sometimes illegible against the background noise, HVAC, computers etc. without making the audio annoyingly loud overall. It is especially bad at...

Sure, I know. Where are the ones with a remote control? I'm getting an LCD, for the reduced weight if nothing else. I can handle a 46" LCD TV, but that is about the limit.

SSDs - State of the Product?

Possibly. It would still be nice to have a 2TB drive with 60GB of flash and choose to have buffering or individual use. The 3.5" drives should have enough room for packing the memory on circuit boards.

Now I have a question about how to get the sound as it is not possible to use internal speakers. I don't want to buy a fancy receiver system with bulky speakers. Basically I'm looking at a mini stereo system with two detachable speakers. It should have a remote control that works with the...
