Meh. I don't think so. Her face is insufficiently symmetric to be really nice. She often acts like she is "all that," which makes it worse.

Dollhouse had an interesting concept, but was poorly executed. Eliza Dushku is just awful.

Eneloop Alternatives (or Cracking The Battery Lingo Codewords)

Eneloops are still just fine. Although one can argue about a few percent more (labeled) from other brands of LSD cells, I prefer the Sanyo brand for over 40 years. A 0.2-0.25C charge rate is also a good choice. I don't know if that particular charger is a good one, but most for NiMH use ΔV...

    LED flashlights

About $110 give or take. You will want two or maybe four 18650s and a charger if you don't already have them. If you need to see a reasonable distance ahead on the street a single cell (AA or 123) light with 100-150 lumens is just fine. If you want to see a good distance in various...

    Why must TV forsake me?

Tv is ridiculous. Why are the dead corpses sometimes breathing? They think we don't notice on the HD TV?

    LED flashlights

I got some weird Sunmainway (?) 1AA light for the Christmas gifts. They were compact with a clicky switch and well received. Now I'm looking for a stronger light for myself. Anyone have the TK35? It has a good compact shape with side by side 18650 config.

    Lenovo Thinkpads

I mean that is not so small as to need a sub-mini, low capacity drive. There is no reason for the Lendovo not to accommodate a standard 2.5" 9.5mm drive. The Macs even fit the 12.5mm drives.

    Lenovo Thinkpads

Only a 320GB max. HD size? It's a standard ~5lb. machine, not a netbook. Lendovo, thy name is crap. :frusty:

Which should be about August for the OCD. Or you can buy one in March and after it fails in April, wait until August for the replacement to arrive.

    Keyboards

I did not have Win 95 until after Win 98 arrived when we bought the first computer. Clearly I don't have a need for the key since I survived for so long without it.

SSDs - State of the Product?

Why would that be needed? Does performance sink like an OCZ drive dropped in the ocean from 65km?

Competing in what? I've not seen one of those in years, not that I have been looking. The last device I had that used one of those was a voltmeter from 1968 or 1969. Can you rig up a replacement or is the space constrained?

No, it is not a wallet failure. The card issuer does not indicate the source, but states that my card may have been compromised. I'm not sure what the deal is, but I'm quite cross about this nonsense. It's not that I buy any weird stuff from shady sites on the interwebs.

    UAV / RC aircraft

Of course that is just a POC to obtain additional funding and performance will improve. 5MPH winds are not much. Run time may not be so critical if they are cheap enough. If in the future those robots are commonly used by law enforcement for home invasions, etc. people might start to think...

    question Larger TVs

I tested my eyeballs and TV sets until I could not stand it and have reached the conclusion that 1.6-1.8x is a reasonable distance. 2x results in a bit less than maximum resolution, but is low stress on the eyes. 1.5x is annoying for moving images and the the eyes may constantly be moving...
