My 2011 Phone is really becoming a problem now. What are the best options for a budget phone, around $200 at the Tmobile. This is the phone for work so I don't want to spend very much on it. ;) I use the G4 as the main personal phone.

What happens when the internet is disconnected? Can you still find file names and contents when the Cortana function is mandatory by MS? I'm really leaning towards the next computer being disconnected from the internet after all the programs are installed. Then I'd install the data drives.

No, I'm not a pro. Most of my cameras and lenses have not been used in 5-10 years. Lately I have been using the 5DsR and 1Dx, but I have over a dozen bodies.

I thought the surveillance drivers were mainly 5400/5900 RPM as well. Since future drives will be filled with gas, we may see a return to an all 7200 RPM era.

Of course the 10K and 15K SAS performance drives are going away first, but the Amazon or the Google, etc. need to store exabytes of data in bulk at low prices. Whether it is in the enterprise capacity or cheaper drives like the BarkBlazers, that's all 3.5" drives for economy. I'd be buying...

I think they would have olden batteries. Anyway, it's a shame that there are no newer MP3 models worth a damn. I don't want to haul around a big, expensive brick of a phone and drain the power instead of having something tiny, lightweight, and relatively cheap with a long battery life.

Any lens over about 4 lbs. would be mounted with a tripod collar and carried over the shoulder. ;) Get some decent pads for the tripod legs. Some people use additional padding on the spider. If you need to keep a large lens/camera "hand held," then a large lens should also have strap lugs.

Does it rain and snow frequently in your zone? The SanDisk Clip+ is long gone. Mine are still working but batteries are on borrowed time. The SanDisk Sport (replacement) is crap.

Some of those drives look rather good, but I have no need for more at the moment. I wonder if the helium fill will extend to sub-6 platter models by next year. One would think that 2016 hybrid drives would have more than 8GB of SSD, but perhaps the core of the Windows is only that size.
