    Mobile A64 Motherboard compatibility?

I'm looking very closely at a 35W A64 2700+ (1.2V stock) and a GIGABYTE GA-K8VT800M motherboard. I read on SPCR about some compatibility issues, but no specific list of what works and what doesn't. I did a search of the (rather extensive) forums there and came up dry. Does anyone here know of a...

Looking for a small Digital Camera

...like really small. My GF needs a "really small" digital camera. I asked if a pack of cigarettes would be ok, and she implied that that would be on the large side. For reference, I used to smoke Nat Shermans (smaller case than normal). So she needs a really small camera and would like an...

Wow, thanks for the comments! Jan: This video card uses a much smaller version of that cooler. The 2 passive "blocks" are only a few inches a piece and connected by a heatpipe. Big image available here. I think this would fit. :-? I read the review you linked to, it seemed to me more...

Building my GF a new system: critique please

It's been nearly 3 years since I built her current system, and it's beginning to look a bit drab. She's plays games everyday, and is taking an intern job at a law firm. As a graduation/birthday gift, I've decided to get her a new system. She has a condo in Santa Cruz, but will be spending...

    AOpen AK89

Sorry, didn't really pay attention to it being an MSI board. Mainly it was the chipset being 250Gb, rather than 150. IIRC, the 250Gb has chipset integrated GbE, wher4e the board you are looking at has PCI-attached GbE. Also, the sound is supposed to be better on the 250 boards. Not sure about...

Why capital punishments is required for cop killers

I picked lettuce for a week when I was in 10th grade for a paper I was writing on this very subject. Besides blowing out my back every day, I nearly cut off my left hand with the knife you need to use. Having the options I have, I wouldn't pick lettuce at any price. However, when I was in...

Why capital punishments is required for cop killers

There was a study done down here in the "Salad bowl of the US" (Salinas, CA) about what would happen to the price of produce if only legal residents were paid at least minimum wage in all aspects of the business. The result? a ~15% increase. This industry utilizes more illegal workers than any...

Why capital punishments is required for cop killers

SF's similar story. It is indeed a tragety. Following JTR's derailment (can't help myself) just a little: Any person who knowingly and willfully commits a premeditated crime that negatively impacts the lives of at least one other person beyond any doubt should be eligible for the death...

    Forum Bridge Building Competition?

All the costs are within the program. It gives you many options, including 3 types of steel and tubular vs. bar supports. It also calculates the cost of different levels of "Site Cost" (excavation, abutments, etc.). It will take any structure that can hold the weight driving from one side to...
