    Silent Cooling

I agree with Mark that testing should have been easy, and results equally easy to provide. They mention installing temp monitoring software, but give no numbers at all. Fanless cooling is almost a moot point at this time. The newest 120mm fans are truly silent when soft-mounted and undervolted...

    Upcoming Microsoft Peripherals

I use a big mouse (Logitech MX1000), and even at a relatively slow speed, it can traverse my entire desktop without any of it hanging off the edge of a 3.5" HDD. No desk space at all? It also works fine on my (admittedly oversized) thigh. Any space savings achieved by a trackball are insignificant.

    Upcoming Microsoft Peripherals

I spend maybe 30% of my time at a keyboard at someone else's keyboard. Therefore getting used to my special stuff would just frustrate me the rest of the time. Even if you don't use other people's PCs it probably makes switching to your laptop more frustrating.

    For all the Spinpoint fans

When I build computers for "office" use, they get a 160GB drive. When I build for "home" use, they get a 320GB drive. Unless they specifically state that they want more, they don't get it. 320GB for ~$100 is the most I can justify on a system unless they are willing to pay the premium.

Small Independent Business Owners: Tell YOUR Story

Graduated high school at age 16 (1996), and when I informed my parents that I didn't plan on going to college, they strongly encouraged be to go away. Auzentech just came out with another expensive soundcard, the Auzen X-Meridian 7.1 with a MSRP of $200. I need someone who knows more than me to explain why, for my purposes, its better than the X-Plosion I have now, or the M-Audio Revolution mentioned above.

    Surveillance Camera Capture Software

The card and cameras are already there; part of the last IT guy's clusterf*ck. They will almost certainly never use it. Primarily it is so the boss can watch from home. Even if I'm only capping 1fps per (motion activated) camera, it shouldn't be an issue. The other tasks are very lightweight...

This heatsink has really amazing thermal capabilities. I'm overclocking/overvolting up the wazoo while loading at 100% for hours on end and I don't have a fan mounted on the heatsink. Of course, I am using a P180 chassis with a pair of 120mm fans @ 500rpm in close proximity. P180 + SCNJ-1000 is...

The best response I could provide is "probably not". NAT is just what you've implied you think it is; sharing which is transparent to the parent network.
