    Why C.A.F.E Standards are Dumb

I don't think the government should be pushing any particular fuel at all; there is far too much money at stake to call them impartial. Just turn the taxes way up on all fuels, based on emissions and scarcity, and let everyone figure it out. You don't need to force the auto industry to do...

I had to do a 1km run with fiber. I just got a longer piece that was already terminated and coiled the leftover on each end. There is no way I want to screw around terminating fiber.

Just passing time seems about right. What else is there in life after survival has been accomplished? Helping others survive? If you don't value your own life, valuing other's lives seems fairly silly. I just bought and assembled one of these. Do I know how to use it? No. Do I plan on learning...

I never had shop, or any real training, but Bob Villa taught me well ;) I had a completely gutted condo in Santa Cruz to remodel; by the time I was done I had figured out framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpet, tile, etc. Granted, it took me 8 months to do a 3 month job, but it was fun...

There have been a number of times in my life where I was ready to call it.I can think of at least two times where laziness was the primary factor keeping me around. Adobe CS3

I've been using the demo of CS3 and I must say they are still a step up from Microsoft. Although it is likely possible to do the same things in both, I don't think anyone would choose CS2 over CS3 if they were making the purchasing decision now.

    How porn is wrecking relationships

Before women's rights, before women were talked to and thought of as equals, there was a mystique about them; a sense that they were separated from the dog-eat-dog world that men lived in. Women asked to be treated as equals. Be careful what you wish for... *I've never been violent towards a woman, nor would I condone such action. My point is that it is more than just modesty that helped discourage violence against women, but the entire concept of a separate social class.

RAID Level Migration (LSI 320-1 Controller)

This is one of the reasons I always put the OS on either a single drive or RAID-1. If the system has room, you might include that recommendation; just a pair of cheap drives would make later maintenance easier, and would make your current migration a snap ;)
