    Onboard video with Dual-head capability?

I read a number of reviews a while ago where some onboard video would only mirror to the multiple outputs, only presenting one to the OS. I don't remember which one it was.

    Onboard video with Dual-head capability?

I'm looking for motherboards whose onboard video can drive two monitors simultaneously. Spanned, not mirrored. The one I'm looking at is here. It has "Intel GMA X4500HD" graphics, which I know nothing about. Thanks.

Other than a crash every few hours, the Spore-RELOADED from TPB plays very well. The retail copy I bought (and opened once) now sits on my shelf, next to the other games I bought and cracked.

    Interview prospective peers

I find that the best way to find out if someone likes technology is to ask questions about tech but not about work. Ask about the LHC, or something on Slashdot, or about some computer game. Find out how long they have been into computers, what their favorite <something> from the past has been...

PC Gaming = World of Suck

I just wanted to play the game through once to get the feel first, so I was into space in about 3 hours. I then spent 3 hours in space (forgetting to save) before it crashed. I then repeated the same twice more. It is able to run for several hours without crashing, I was just dumb. Repeatedly.

PC Gaming = World of Suck

In the space section, you can't save while on a planet. Considering everything happens while on a planet, that is an issue.

PC Gaming = World of Suck

Spores lack of an autosave feature, combined with its tendency to crash, and its inability to allow a manual save most of the time has led me to swear off the game before finishing it once. Lame.

We have a number of items that go in the field (it is a construction company). Because of this these tags will be embedded aluminum with some ridiculous adhesive. I spend about 200 minutes a day commuting. It was always meant to be temporary; just until we found out if the relationship would work, and one of us could get a different job. It's been nearly 2 years now, and I drove ~78,000 miles last year (and am on track to beat that this year). This is not...

The first thing I would do is stick it to the dick. Get one (or more) of those Intel SSDs and the fastest CPU you can get your hands on (IIRC, ACT isn't appreciably multithreaded) and see what that does.

I'm not a fan of wireless keyboards and mice either, but it is what it is. I do plan on tagging computers, monitors, and printers. Cell phones, cellular modems and PDAs are also part of my deal, but I'm not sure how to tag them (the tag is 3/4" x 2").

JTR, Living off-grid is a long-term goal, if it is less than 10 years out I would be surprised. We won't be in a position to buy for another year or so, and then the dream house is next in line. By then I may be using hydrogen storage instead of batteries; that way I can power the car, too...
