Firefox won't run a suspicious Java applet unless you give it express permission. If you go to the site I linked above, and click scan my PC, firefox will ask you before running the applet.

I would have used IE, but it's screwed up and won't load housecall. I didn't feel like spending hours fixing it so I found an alternative.

So you don't have any Java runtimes installed on your system at all? I don't think there is any hack here at all. This version of housecall just uses the Java 2 runtimes; I already had them installed anyways.

The 6 tabs that were open when I wrote my previous post aren't very big at all. One was the Storageforum reply, two are Gmail, and the other three were just text pages not more than a few KB in size with a couple small jpg ads.

How come? Maybe you need to try some of the extensions to customize it to your liking. I recommend Tabbrowser extensions.

Do I need to do anything special to install over 1.0PR? I don't want to lose all my extensions and settings. Can I just install it or do I need to uninstall and then install the new version.

Pradeep, how much extra is "National Access MOU"? I just looked at the Verizon site, but don't see that listed. It seems like most of the phones have National Access capability though, which is good.

You could open a merchant account with a local bank and then tie this in with a shopping cart system on your website, this way you wouldn't be using any third party site to sell your goods. I think this way is the most professional looking way to sell goods online.

Has anyone else noticed that gmail is kinda slow at peak times? I think they need some more servers.

I was just visiting my sister in the hills east of San Diego (Ramona) last week. It was in the 90s or 100s F everyday out there. We would drive towards the coast and the temperature would drop 20 or 30 degrees.
