Free Computer Stuff - Just pay postage

It looks like all that is left is: Adaptec AHA-2930c Aureal Vortex 2 (this also has an optical out) If anyone wants these things, hurry up because I am in the mood to throw things away.

Free Computer Stuff - Just pay postage

Trade isn't necessary. Unless you have some DDR memory sitting around. But, that wouldn't be a very fair trade. You do know that the AAA-131ca does not support any Microsoft OS higher than NT to the best of my knowledge? If you still want it then I will figure out what postage will be.

OK I added the two things that you told me to add into my css file, hopefully this will fix it in any browser that could possibly be used (in this day and age). Does it work now? The reason that I don't like the bold mouse-overs is that when you mouse-over any of the top menu items it moves...

Buck, Thanks for helping with this. I know you have a ton of experience with this stuff, so I was hoping that you would chime in. What type of differences are there between Tannin's version and Buck's version? Does Buck's version work correctly with IE5? I don't have a machine that has IE5...

I'm have a bit of trouble with cascading style sheets. You can see my attempt to use css here: http://www.timwhit.com/sisk This was created using Dreamweaver and one of their templates. When I was younger we had something that is even more environmentally safe than your electric mower. I couldn't find a good picture of anything as old and crappy as ours, but this is the basic idea. Actually we still have it. Requires a lot more effort to mow and it does a worse job, but it...

I don't think Sin City was a geek movie. I'm not a comic book fan and I loved Sin City. Still have to see Episode III. I really didn't much like the last 2, but if Merc is right this might be worth seeing in the theater.

    Cell Phones

I'm just pisseed because I was promised a rebate Jan 1, 2005 by a customer service rep and when I called them in January they told me that I need to wait until January 1, 2006. This is utter BS. I know multiple people that had contracts expire and told customer service that they are leaving...

    Cell Phones

Fushigi, Not exactly. Sprint's rule is that if you activated a phone less than 18 months ago then you aren't eligible for a rebate. So let's say I drop my phone 17 months after I got it into a glass of water, then I buy a used phone on ebay and activate it. I will not be eligible for 18 more...

    Cell Phones

Here is a better picture of the LG 1200 in case you wish to bask in its glory: For some reason they have an ungodly clip on the back of it. That phone was small enough to fit in any size pocket. If they made the same phone with a color screen, I would pay $300 for it.

    Cell Phones

My original phone was a Touchpoint 2100. Did the job, that's about it. Then I bought a LG 1200. This was a great phone. Super small, great signal, good batterly life, and the speaker was loud enough that I could actually hear people talking to me. Then I came home one day and it was in...

What should I do with this POS?

After I figured out how to open all of their cases and learned the nuances of each model, they weren't all that bad to work on. Those damn snap on gray plastic pieces that they all had on the sides always broke though. And since they were customer computers, I would have to glue them back on.

Torrents - do we even need TV any more?
