I haven't had any issues getting mirroring working on Catalyst. What I do have an issue doing is playing bluray movies on mirrored monitors, even with AnyDVD HD and the latest PowerDVD.

Sounds like you have it under control. I would run it on top of ESXi, just to make backup and restoration easier. It makes remote admin and troubleshooting easier if that is a consideration.

That system could run Win7 quite well. You probably won't even have to install any drivers.

So long as that 11 is seconds, you're alright. If it is minutes, you are hosed.
