Just a basic informational site. I want to show items on sale and the available used computers. Business hours, contact informations and price list. The usual for a computer store. I do not want to sell stuff via the web site (no online orders). I don't have the structure to support this...

    Why must TV forsake me?

Wasn't the show cancelled midway thru the second season? And no, I wasn't hook by it. Too much drama, not enough brawl. Felt like a mix between Star Trek and Oprah (at least what I heard Oprah is/was).

No, it won't. The best you can do is to put a Win7 inside a VM (with Virtual Box) and then run it on the USB drive, but you'll need another OS on the internal drive to boot off first.

Every little bit counts. And it's not that small a contribution as you imply it is. A PS3 gives roughly a thousand points per day. That's not bad in the long run. I won't spit on it and I'm grateful to whoever gives it to us. Not everyone is willing to dedicate a bunch of Core i7 machines...

    Prospective Semi-High-End Budget Build

If the WCG is anything like the F@h project, then I strongly second Time's suggestion of jumping to a 2600K instead of the 2500K. I don't think there's such a thing as "big units" for the WCG, but still, eight core (even if four are virtual) versus four should make quite a leap in total...

SSDrueding, you simply started to compute big units. Those are worth more than 60K points when completed within the preferred deadline (which you did). They take ~3 days to complete. That's why you have a lot of points on certain days and not so many on others. I have three computers doing...

You can go with a Phenom II for the same price as an i3. In my lists, the X4 955 is priced within 2$-3$ of the i3 550, but it's a significantly faster processor. And nothing prevents you to use an 85$ AMD motherboard. It will have a lot more features than the 85$ H55 Intel motherboard. You...
