How about this one: Why won't SF remember me? Every time I check the box but it doesn't stay. Firefox remembers me and enters the username and password, but by then my tabs have loaded while I'm logged out.

For the record, lifting the LCD's power brick off the analoge audio cable fixed that little issue.

I have a few of these drives (smaller, but the same manufacturer and form factor. The design is really neat, and I haven't had one go bad yet. They seem to spin up fine, even from laptop USB connectors (usually lower-than-spec voltange). Only a non-powered USB hub can stop them.

I might add; this is a new occurance, never happened before, and that the speakers themselves are 3 feet to either side of the monitor. I'll play with the power cable and see what I can do.

Why does turning down the brightness on my Samsung 191T cause significant single-frequency feedback on my Klipsch speakers? Having the display on at all causes static and turning the brightness below 70% causes a really nasty whine.

For those who are interested... As I'd want it configured, ~$40k even. With $10k down upon order, $10k on shipment of the drivetrain, and the balance on delivery of the car. Current wait time is ~180 days. Production in Ashland, Oregon; test drives available upon request at the factory.

I prefer the big island, less people more "tropical" weather (think warm rain). I had a nice B&B in a macadamia orchard next to a waterfall, it was pretty much perfect (except for the price). In that regard, Thiland is the place to be.

I remember reading somewhere that 800x600 is down to like 15% of the userbase, but they all seem to be my clients :( Does anyone here consider designing for a fixed-width 1024x768 a "bad practice"?

Yep, it's working just fine. I will be updating the BIOS as soon as I get the system on the network (actually an out of CAT5 cables...crazy).

Found it. Apparently the people who set the BIOS defaults thought that people who buy a budget integrated mobo would be using ECC ram exclusively :roll: Buried 3-layers deep in the BIOS...bastards.

For the record, I bought one of these and it won't POST. It boots all the way through sucessfully testing RAM and detecting the drives, then sits right there. Not frozen, numlock still responds and Alt-Crtl-Del will reboot it...right back to the same spot. Stupid ASUS...Stupid, Stupid Dave. :(...

I currently do about 30 sit-ups, 30 squats, and 30 push-ups a day, in addition to basic yoga positions. I'm in pretty good shape, really, just bending over a workbench for 3-5 hours makes by back hurt.

I forgot how much my back hurts while I'm building a system. I just finished New systems for my GF and myself in matching P180 chassis. These things are sweet, and can run very quiet and cool, but take much linger to build properly.

My next video card will likely be one of their IceQ line of cards. These are the ones Groltz mentioned that use the arctic cooling system to push air straight out of the case.
