NEWZ: Seagate Releases 120GB & 100GB 2½ Inch Notebook Dr

I disagree. While it may be normal for the five-platter drives, I've never had a hot Hitachi Deskstar drive. I've had 7k250s and 180GXPs -- all very cool

I've had major issues with Mozilla, Java, and the USPS website (of all things). This has been going on for some time. The USPS label printng website uses a Java applet to display and print the labels. Every once in a while, the applet will cause Mozilla to freeze. Upgrading to the latest...

NEWZ: Seagate Releases 120GB & 100GB 2½ Inch Notebook Dr

Zipzoomfly: I recently ordered a 7k250 from them. Came in the antistatic bag in a little foam box. Foam box was wrapped in bubble wrap. Everything in to the order was in a box with packing peanuts; but it was packed tight -- nothing in the box moved. Keep in mind, however, that Zipzoomfly...

NEWZ: Seagate Releases 120GB & 100GB 2½ Inch Notebook Dr

I wouldn't order drives from Newegg. Mine came wrapped in some bubble wrap, free-floating in a sea of packing peanuts. None of this extra packing material was antistatic.

    Delayed Write Failed

This Call May Be Recorded For Quality Assurance

I think it's interesting to see how folks respond to, "Oh, I could be better." You can do more damage to unwanted callers by initially not paying attention to their spiel, asking them politely to repeat it, and then telling them to cease and desist calling you.

Saying "this call may be recorded" does not limit who can record it. If they use this phraseology, then *you* may record the call.
