I have "FLAC Encoder DLL" as an option.
I thought that the standard package came with a DLL, but you may need to install it. You can just copy over from the FLAC frontend folder.
"I don't want to see anybody do anymore goddamn press conferences. Put a moratorium on press conferences. Don't do another press conference until the resources are in this city. And then come down to this city and stand with us when there are military trucks and troops that we can't even count...
I had a roommate back in college who was Mormon. Made lots of interesting conversation, to say the least. Never got around to the sacred underwear.
Utah is very conciencious about Mormons being considered wierdos and goes to some efforts to not seem so wierd.
This is *still* the South. Were we expecting them to charter buses to take the blacks out of town?
You do have to wonder... Okkay, you're too poor to get out of town. It didn't dawn on you that you might want an axe in your attic. Why didn't you go to a shelter?
If hurricanes keep causing x billions of dollars of damage, why haven't the insurance companies done something about it? They should be pushing premiums through the roof for these half-assed houses.
Furthur investigation has found that none of the fancy-pants fonts from the Adobe OpenType font library work. Type 1 fonts are fine. TrueType fonts are fine.
At the moment, I'm following others who are having issues with Helvetica being replaced by Arial upon display. That issue seems to be...
Why would Firefox render fonts? That's the job of Windows' font engines.
And even if it were Firefox, why would it be some fonts but not others? Very perplexing....

After fidling with font settings in Firefox this evening, I've discovered that it doesn't seem to like some (but not all) of the OpenType fonts with PostScript outlines. It seems fine with PostScript fonts.
Any theories on this?
"If we are going to commit American troops, we must be certain they have a clear mission, an achievable goal and an exit strategy."
---Karen Hughes, speaking on behalf of George W Bush
"[The] President . . . is once again releasing American military might on a foreign country with an ill-defined objective and no exit strategy. He has yet to tell the Congress how much this operation will cost. And he has not informed our nation's armed forces about how long they will be away...
What's the number of connected clients versus the seeder/leecher numbers that the tracker hands you?
This sounds like a nothing sent/nothing received situation....
Sounds like a remote issue. If the folks out in the cloud aren't sending data, there's nothing to receive.
Since most folks have far more download bandwidth than upload, there has to be several times more seeders than leechers to make a torrent move quickly.
I'd guess that SAS, like SATA, uses more power, in part, because the interface is "always on." In serial ATA, the host and device constantly pass packets, even when no data or commands are being sent.
It doesn't work that way....
As the Arctic ice melts, the North Atlantic becomes flooded with fresh water. As the salinity decreases, the throughput of the Gulf Stream decreases. Eventually, it will stop bringing its warm waters to Europe. It will become colder in Europe!
I ended up turning off the nVidia firewall on my system because I couldn't ever get it to work correctly. No matter what settings I used, it managed to jack something up so that I couldn't use my computer properly.
I was contacted today by a different agency. I can e-mail my resume to them in Word format or fax it. OR FAX IT?
Why can't I just send them the usual PDF, have them print it up on the crappiest printer in the office, and then they can mangle it!
Yes.... I ended up getting the Tagan, which was incredibly wonderful, except for not having enough +3.3V for my PCI-X SCSI cards. Ended up with a Silverstone OEM of an Enhance, which is very stable.
Maybe I had too many business-school friends in college. These were the folks who *paid* artsy types to layout their resume for them, and then printed it on the $1 a sheet paper.
I'm down on the paper, but I can appreciate a nice looking document. Simple is common; I want to stand out!

This explains a lot about your personal life....
This reminds me of another story from when I worked technical support at Electronic Arts....
For those of you who don't know (and bless you all), The Sims Online is a "game" -- I use the quotes, because it's not much more than the original...
As long as he doesn't figure out that InDesign is a $700 piece of software, that might work....
I've generally figured that if they didn't hand my resume over to the client directly, that they extracted the information for some massive database. PDF doesn't stop you from doing that (I make...
As folks here probably know, I'm currently not employed. So, I keep a line in on several temp agencies. Finally got a call back from one last week and, as part of the processes e-mailed in a copy of my resume. As is my standard practice, I sent him a PDF. I get a message back, "The resume...
I never had a problem with it. Stopped using it some time ago, however, because the functionality that I needed was integrated into the basic drivers.
What are you trying to do?
IE is (ultimately) based on Mosaic (still). I have to give credit to the Netscape folks for at least thinking that they need to create a new engine from scratch.
When I was working for support at Electronic Arts, I (*I*) would get at least one call a day of someone with a problem with their Sims speaking [Spanish|Japanese|Dutch|Chinese|Arabic|French|you name it]. For those of you not in the know (and I hope that's all of you), Sims speak Simlish...
The problem that I've found with Intel boards is that, not only are they incompatible with the cheaper and better chips from AMD, but they often include the most craptastic built-in graphics, ever.
