    Samsung 7200rpm drives

This question is mainly targeted to Tony, and others who have used Samsung drives. I have used the 5400rpm Samsung drives and been very pleased with them. Quiet, fast enough (hmmm...) and reliable (?). But what about the 7200rpm drives? Have you used them? What are your experiences with them...

    Opinions about OpenOffice 1.0.0?

I installed it before the weekend, but I haven't had time to play around with it. I've been using the 0.64x build for a few months though, and it has worked good enough for me.

    How much does it hurt?

Are you going to buy a new motherboard too? Or is you MB new enough to handle thoroughbreads? There was a link to www.asuscom.de at amdmb.com. The page at asus was about which of their motherboards can handle TBs.

    Quiet power supply recommendations

I just changed the fan in my Antec 400w PS. It had a temperature controlled ADDA in it, and I changed it to a 19db papst. I bypassed the temperature controller (just used another plug in the PS) and removed the fan grill from the back of the PS. Works like a charm, and very quiet.
