What kind of memory are you using? The AMD760 is still a good performer. I have the impression that generally speaking the performance difference with the chipsets is quite small.

I just built a server for a small company. It's a Athlon XP1700, 512MB, A7v266-e, 4*80GB on the motherboard raid controller (which sucks, I can't get it to mirror the 4 drives (damm promise)), etc... I just put F@H on it to check that it's stable. Had to unplug my girlfriends P2 333MHz...

I just fired up the FAh3 BETA on my laptop at work, and it seems to be getting through the firewall!!! So the team has now 1 more computer (Celeron 600, 256MB) crunching! Thanks for the heads up Clocker!

With all these split personality persons here, I think we should have some sort of rules concerning them! Like 1 extra personality=minimum 2 machines crunching F@H, 2 extra personalities=minimum 3 machines crunching F@H etc.... ;)

Just wanted to recommend Ximian's Evolution as a mail reading program. I'm using it with Redhat 7.2 , and I really like it. Much better atleast than the KMail I used for a while :) It's an Outlook clone, if I dare call it that.
