Mystery of the Mostly Missing Molar

Although I have yet to be injected with Cortizone, I have been numerous times with my father to the doctor for his Cortizone shots. Through this experience, I have found that it is incredibly important for the injection to take place at the central point of pain. My father has been to many...

    New car time ... confused

Just as a side note, my W123 car was Rally proven, but I know my 300D wouldn't last long off-road (I can already hear a tie-rod bending). I would take that sort of data with a grain of salt. Probably a better testament to a cars capability would be real world use with the actual automobile...

How to overlay a web graphic

I still like the site. The idea of using all CSS and no tables had never crossed my mind. I'll have to give that a try some day, I really like the idea. But no Javascript? I don't know about that. If a browser supports new, fancy CSS properties, it will work well with Javascript. Plus...

How to overlay a web graphic

Tea, you note on the notes page: "Some issues with Mozilla turning plain text into links at 1024 x 768 resolution. (Yup, a strange one.) Example: the text "Promoting productive catchment management" on the home page." This didn't happen to me in Mozilla 1.4a, has it already been fixed?

How to overlay a web graphic

Thanks for the compliment Tea. Do you know what format your images will be coming in (jpg, gif, png, tif)? You would want to use gif as the final format, since that will keep your transparent background. As far as getting a background transparent, I don’t know of any magic-wand solutions...

How to overlay a web graphic

Oh, by the way, be careful with that z-index thing. It is a CSS2 spec and needs Netscape 6.0 or IE 4.0 or newer to work properly. I don't know how it will work with Opera.

How to overlay a web graphic

Could you just create a class for the image, and create an absolute position? Example: img.x {position:absolute; left:600px; top:0px; z-index:+1} Regardless of the resolution, the image would be placed in the same spot from the left and top margins. Then the z-index would give it priority...

Old German, as in the font. Check this site out. Look at the lowercase "f" and the first lowercase "s". The slight difference is the cross in the "f". That is what I meant.

The worst part is reading old German characters. There style of writing can be confusing, the "f" and "s" almost identical or "ss" as its single character version almost looks like an upper case "b". I'll stick with English for now, as it seems to kauze me enuf problemz.
