25nm SSD NAND from Intel and Micron

That is what I thought. ;) Presumably other manufacturers will produce 25nm parts before too long. I wonder if there will be SLC varieties or if that technology is no longer worthwhile.

I received the switch and it seems to be a sturdy one. I noticed that the USB interface is only 1.1 on the 2-port model that I have, whereas the similar 4-port model has USB 2.0. Does it make a difference or are the HIDs natively 1.1 in any case?

SSDs - State of the Product?

I want either a faster, 6Gbps X-25E series for around $500 or something cheap, but decent like the X-25M series for around $150. I wish they made a 40GB X-25M.

    Low power 2TB options?

You are assuming the sample is not representative of the population or DOAs are not linear with the number of samples due to failure clusters?

    Low power 2TB options?

True, but many DOAs or mechanical problems are observed. I don't think there is correlation of clueless users that is different between brands.

It seems to be a good opportunity, but have an attorney read the contract carefully. You should also investigate the employer. A contract is not worth much if the business goes bankrupt for example.

    32"-37" LCD HDTV Choice

Oh, I thought it was illuminated by LEDs. I'm accustomed to masking out colored distractions with black gaffers tape, which may be unnecessary in this situation. It is a problem that there are so many models. Finding a store that has the right one available will be a hassle.

    Low power 2TB options?

In the past I've run several different stats in comparing drives and there is often a significant difference between particular models. Of course there can be a bandwagon effect, but when I see p <0.01 for n>100 OEM drives it is difficult to simply ignore the differences without having a...
