If there are 1TB platters in 3.5" drives then by rule of nature there should be 1TB (2x500GB) 2.5' drives coming next.

Sorry I missed that. Since they were absorbed by the Seagate is it really all the same drives?

USA is quite large. Whatever massive event would destroy every nuclear plant in the country (spaceborne object?) might be a little bit more devastating itself than just a nuclear leak.

People go all the way to Mexico for that? I thought most of the software, video, etc. criminals were online? Maybe some Swedish youths have nothing better to do.

Hey Mr. 3000  How are you doing now personally? Almost back to normal?

I find no "Mexico" posted since January. Maybe I'm too old for SF culture? :dunno:

    LIR2477 cells

Well after they are practically dead it does not hurt anything. ;) I have about 7 or 8 of them now.

Maybe Merc. was repairing or upgrading somebody's computer. Why is that so surprising?

And now from Seagate... 1TB/platter. I'm sure that reliability will be just awesome. :-P

    LIR2477 cells

What do you need them for? Is the product obsolete, but not worth replacing?

    Sandy Bridge problems

It's probably due to being cheap crap. Of course they don't reimburse you for hundreds or thousands of dollars in replacement software.

It's not that I would have a personal aerial sticking up or hanging out. 6 hours with no TV is total BS. The toilet remote is not programmed for sending signals to the DVD.

    Why must TV forsake me?

I have no idea how Merc knows all this stuff. So the fake bleach blonde is the last woman of her species?

SSDs - State of the Product?

I'm not convinced it would be that much better than the ancient X25-E I have now.

    Boot from backup

That could be a lot of work for many users. It seems like that would also run really slow and burn up the USB drives. (Where are they all stored?) How many SSDs are failing? Has it been determined to be a good ROI?

I don't understand the Game on the Throne series. Who are the peoples? Is it supposed to take place in ancient England or what?

SSDs - State of the Product?

Nope. I saw the first one a few times in the 70s and about the first 10 minutes of the second one perhaps in the early 80s. After that I avoided the 3rd one and the three modern remakes like the plague.

 Yeah, that is what I meant. I'm not sure if the M4/C400 is really fast enough to be worth the price, given that the 256GB size is needed for the full write speeds.
