    That was popular 50+ years ago on TV and radio, but it does not create enough revenue now. I don't think they are so bad compared to many other commercials. There are frequently nauseating commercials about unpleasant disorders and biological functions from the over the counter products too...

    Or you could buy a newer body with less noise at higher ISOs. There are tons of older inexpensive lenses that work on the better bodies. Lack of the AF motor is just awful.

    Maybe you need to reset the time. :) I use a GPS for setting the time accurately.

    I don't understand why the new text should be at the bottom where it is difficult to find. That would make printing a long chain a hassle too. Often I only print the first two pages of a lengthy e-mail for example.

    You probably have not had your home completely destroyed or suffered bodily injury from falling objects. In 1971 I was hit in the head with something that weighed about 3 lbs. Not fun. Why is this all in the SSD thread?

    Aren't those MLC? I was looking at the SLC micron/crucial SSDs. I think they are from older generation, but more recently available than other of that generation.

    I found some internet access. It is cold and raining. JSF, Thanks for the info. I am here for a specific project. I would do a longer trip later in the year for other purposes. I'm not sure if early September is reasonable or too late.
