It still might be of some use, but I wonder how much UAT has been conducted compared to other mechanical means of generating and storing power?

I am in a similar boat, in the US and elsewhere. Many international companies and governments take a dim view of Google anything, much less for compliance with government-mandated security and privacy regulations.

Larger HDD to smaller SSD questions

That should not be necessary. I regularly change partition sizes with True Image without needing to do anything special. Obviously the target partition must be large enough to restore the amount of data in the TIB.

Is that a USB 3.0 horse drive? My last experience with the Corsair was not good. The interior broke free from the soft plastic casing, and it failed. :(

SSDs - State of the Product?

Amongst other things. 1TB 2.5" drives and 2TB 3.5" drives would be fine for the short term.

PS is not the issue as at least CS5 would work on XP64. I have an unopened retail PS CS6, but that is also not the issue. DPP has some special tools that I prefer. You can also run multiple instances at the same time. I have 5 copies of Windows 7 squirreled away, but I was not planning on...

I received one of the Seagate 3GB drives in a rather small OEM brown box and it was not even enclosed in an outer box! Then I forgot to take it out of my car trunk most of the week. I thought there was a can of beans or something bouncing around, but there was not.
