I don't know anything about the Behringer unit. Getting the D/A conversion out of the electrically noisy PC isn't a bad idea though.

I've heard some of their large floor standing speakers. I haven't heard their PC speakers, but they would be high on my list if I was shopping for a set.

Intel's SSD Toolbox will secure wipe their SSDs. Many of the companies have tools to secure erase their drives.

Xboot either uses Syslinux or Grub4dos to load the images, but that doesn't mean it's running Linux. I'm not sure it supports a BartPE boot disc. It shows support for PE, MSDART, ERD (Vista, 7, & XP), but I'm not sure if a BartPE disc qualifies. Perhaps post on Xboot's support forum?

Got me... I guess the standard load is still XP. I should mention it's a very shoddy load of XP where a bunch of device drivers are missing or misconfigured.

To add insult to injury they didn't use AHCI mode when they installed Windows XP, so the eSATA port on the system is basically worthless. :rant:
