I'm not sure how to respond to that. How should I have responded to time's gloating post about being right?

Congratulations on being right and cheerleading and gloating over the results of a natural disaster. I hope you're happy now that you got the outcome you've been longing for.

I've heard some of their large floor standing speakers. I haven't heard their PC speakers, but they would be high on my list if I was shopping for a set.

I'll admit I don't understand it myself though I haven't attempted to really think about it either. The part that gets me is that the wheels turn the prop, not the prop turning the wheels.

I read this article in my paper copy of Wired today. Fascinating how they made a wind powered vehicle that can go faster than the wind, downwind.

Why is this wireless router so fast?

Whatever you're downloading is compressible? I'd also be shocked if you got a 10MB/sec internet connection. It's probably 10mbit/sec.

SSDs - State of the Product?

Intel's SSD Toolbox will secure wipe their SSDs. Many of the companies have tools to secure erase their drives.

Well, I'm going to go out on a limb an assume he wiped it before starting.

You're a brave man. I wouldn't have given someone a system with a used SSD that had an unknown amount of wear / usage.

XBoot - Merge your Boot CDs together!

Xboot either uses Syslinux or Grub4dos to load the images, but that doesn't mean it's running Linux. I'm not sure it supports a BartPE boot disc. It shows support for PE, MSDART, ERD (Vista, 7, & XP), but I'm not sure if a BartPE disc qualifies. Perhaps post on Xboot's support forum?
