I could swear I replied earlier. Anyway, the environment ,distance and light source can affect AF. Normally I would have the camera services if several lenses are all off in the same direction.

    Format large flash

Apparently Windows and the command line still don't like formatting an FAT32 USB device over 32GB. I remember this from Win 2K, but apparently there has been no progress in Win 7. There are various 3rd party apps that work in Windows to format the 64GB and 128GB cards, but is there...

Long ago they were sometimes called apps, but other times called programs. What is this new Metro key? I thought "Metro" was deemed illegal or infringing, or something. Is there another name now?

I've been using the original Lens Align with the long ruler for many years now. There have been many knockoffs like this one. In general, you should run the tests multiple times and under various conditions approximating use. An MA of 20 is too much. Are all your other lenses close to zero?

The funny part is that Hitachi does not own Samsung, Seagate does. I must have at least 20TB of laptop drives, so I don't really need it. I'll probably buy at least one anyway.

The new 24-70/2.8 is very good, especially in comparison to the older version at large apertures. At f/10 the old version is as God or a bit better than the new at the long end. The new lens is much nicer at the wide end in any case.

There is an operation in the Sasmsumg SSD Magician called Performance Optimization. If your OS/hardware does not support Trim you can use that if you like. I don't bother, but it does not hurt anything either. Intel has a similar tool.

There is something odd about the 1TB Hybridio drive. The read or write speed trace drops from the beginning to nearly the end as usual, but then jumps again to the max for the last few percent. It's as if the flashmob is at the end of the disc? I also notice that in a PDSD the drive is...

Is there some reason you really need the ACHI? I doubt there is any appreciable difference in such an old machine, and an SSD in IDE mode is far better than any hard drive. You can Trim occasionally with the Samsung utility if necessary.
