My average speed commuting is 20-25, though on vacation in the southwest where there are high speed limits it is more like 70MPH. We drove over 2500 miles in little more than a week.
I really don't know much about the EVs except that I don't see very many around, so the economy and/or...
I refuse the CC and even the new LR full retail spies on every image clicked, though I disdain LR for the catalog function as well. I'm done with Adobe except for an older version of PS that has the perpetual license.
I just need to convert RAW to 16-bit TIFF. The new Canon DPP 4.x is slower...
I had a similar car and it is not really the best choice due to the weight. A Mustang version of the modular engine with some later improvements is nice for making better HP.
I don't know how you'd get anything other than sluggish out of electric without spending quite a lot of money. You...
That's a good attitude there . :) TCO depends so much on the variables of vehicle cost, depreciation, repairs/service, fuel, etc.
I don't drive a personal car very much this century, so MPG is of no significance for example.
I need a reliable car as there are no friends or family to help me out.
I know a lot of you younger guys like cars. I just hate them due to the terrible accidents involving people closest to me and they have negatively impacted my life directly as well.
If I never had to get behind a wheel...
The lights are all on continuously after a while each time it starts.
What kind of ridiculous car is that to rent? Are you joking? I'd rather have a nice large SUV like I had on vacation last month, but I'll probably end up with a standard car if the company will pay for it.
I'm wondering...
My car started going nuts this afternoon from the UPS. The engine and multiple other warning lights are on, but it still drives with no unusual sounds or smells or anything. Will the car just die or burst into flames, etc.? Monday-Tuesday I'm supposed to drive about 400 miles, which is...
Of course A/C is not mandatory if the unit does not have it, but I thought that everything in a unit as leased was supposed to be maintained.
When I was stationed in the PR there was A/C, but no heat.
It's awful and ridiculous. Humans are not bacteria or other life forms that need to live in such a limited climate.
They have become the dominant species by altering the local environment to meet biological requirements.
Even the Homo erectus had fire.
It depends on the definition of limited. I'd say that everyone is limited by the equipment. Whether people understand the limitations and how to work around them for their needs is another issue.
It's absolute crap. I wonder if they will make it mandatory or still have the packages. I see most people in the nearby areas have been getting the small satellite dishes the last few years.
Does anyone have the 5DsR yet? I cancelled the wrong order, so the one of the two that arrived ended up in storage 1800 miles away and not easy to access. :(
Meanwhile the A7rII is available for pre-order as of this week. The sensor looks amazing, but it is still crippled with the battery...
I block the UTube normally, and only use it for some specific commercial sites that I trust.
My cookies and all that sort of local profile things are wiped every few hours, so they probably don't care about me personality.
Maybe it won't in the long term, but the internet won't be the same either. It'll probably all merge into some Orwellian septic tank of content.
The baby boomers and unwashed masses don't have all the IT gear you people have nor time to work with it.
They are moving to the Netflix and dongles...
The 7D II is not so good for video production. AF is not normally used in quality productions, but in ENG video cameras.
Which lenses are you using now?
If you have to use AF with an onboard mic like a camcorder, try one of the Canon video lenses indicated by "STM" in the name.
Also take a...
I meant the USB. The old (January) X99 board is working fine at least in normal use. There is some oddity about booting from legendary devices causing a loop and then it can't get back to normal.
I bought a new x99 mainboard at the end of April that supposedly has UPS 3.1. Somehow my earlier MB started working again, so I never opened the box. Are there boards with newer chipset since April already? :(
I'm 13-14 years older than when it started. I didn't realize some people were so specific. It's sad that most of the members are long gone and some are deceased.
I think it is worse than a typical data breach (and rather ironic) since the core business is to secure passwords. It looks like a password list locked in the desk is more secure. :(
Suppose I release product to market and it is defective and people die. Which is more important, the quality of product or how the dead bodies are cleaned up and families compensated afterwards?
