    problem Toshiba laptop's touchpad malfunction

I also use an M310, but on the desktop at home. I'd use a smaller mouse in bed. At work I'm often moving from one room to another, so the smaller mouse is more convenient as it is for travel. I have two M310s and at least five M325s, though at any one time one or two are typically MIA.

    Why are chargers so lame?

The manufacturers have to balance speed and safety with cost as well. Exploding batteries are bad press.

Why is more than 8GB of RAM needed for a browser? That's rather ridiculous for ordinary use.
  11. LunarMist

    Why are chargers so lame?

I explained above, but the 2.1A is about the maximum load that the charger is designed to handle continuously before some protection (current/voltage limiting) is applied. If the phone draws 1.4A, then that is what it needs at that time, assuming there is not a voltage drop due to excessive...

I want to buy a new car

I've been in the passenger seat on a different 2015 than I rented (also 2015), and it is better than the back. At least on the lower models, there is no A/C in the back.

I want to buy a new car

I had one in August. The back was OB, but a bit smaller than my current car. The Avalon/ES350 are a little larger in the rear, though I really don't care due to not having any passengers.

    Why are chargers so lame?

2.1A is the maximum current rating of the charger. If the charging circuit in the phone draws less then that's what it needs. As the charge nears completion the current will decrease as the charger is in constant voltage mode (battery is at max voltage of about 4.2V). If the charger has only...

I want to buy a new car

Because of the trunk, general availability, and being cheap on the used market. I'm in dozens of taxis per year to/from airports and I'd not say they are all the same. The Mercury version is nicer. Anyway the Panther cars are history now and the Camry, Impala, and Prius are often used for...

    Reasons to Root your phone?

Maybe I'm strange, but my phone seems to have very little communication and downloads. I turned off every questionable option and disabled or uninstalled apps I don't use. The G4 battery lasts about two days, which is better than the old Samsung Galactic II. I thought the main purpose of...

I want to buy a new car

Most taxis were used police cars anyway, and they had the stiffer suspensions for police use. At least the trunks of the CV held 2 passenger's luggage for a trip to the airport. The crappy compact cars they use now are a joke.

The 1D III is rather old and is either no longer serviced or getting very close to that. I had a 5D II for a while and the AF was awful, like the 5D. Back then the 1Ds III was a better choice with good AF and a somewhat faster framing rate. The 5D III is rather inexpensive compared to a few...

The 135/2 is a very good, but aging design with rather much LoCA wide open or so. It will be interesting to see if Canon can inject some BR magic into the next version and improve it to Zeiss IQ or similar. The EF 50/1.4 was never well regarded. It was a non-L lens with a non-ring USM motor...

Too shallow DOF often limits practical print size. The 17-40mm is a rather poor lens away from the center. The 50/1.4 is mechanically bad, though IQ is OK at f/4-5.6. Canon has poor to mediocre choices in 50mm lenses, but there are a few good alternatives like Sigma Art and some MF Japanese...
