I thought so. The accuracy of the device clock has to be considered over its lifetime of a few years. I recall those RSA ones had an expiration date.

The whole point of the card is that you pay later and are only responsible up to $50. I understand we all pay for the fraudulators.

This is a possibility for the next rollout. I think that the section will buy the cheaper displays and not care about the technology. For all I know they will buy MS origami styles and something else, but I think the Lenova is better than Dells.

I'm already quite annoyed by the stupid amount of time it takes to authorize a card now with those internal ICs. It's worse than 20 years ago. Great progress in technology, eh?

I suspect it would be the cheapest display, but we would get the i7 and 16GB RAM. The current laptops have 256GB, so I assume this would be the same. The unit is quite large due to the 14" display, so it will be more difficult to carry around and fit in my bag. At least the weight is...

I stopped drinking the sugar version around 1978, when I was getting what I thought was a bit a bit heavy at the time. Sometimes there is only the sugar version in the developer countries and it is so heavy and messes with energy levels, that I hate it.

    dSLR thread

I did not realize it had been 8 years. 70-200 SLR lenses are not typical cine lenses. Due to the telephoto ratio and inherent design limitations of smaller lenses with high IQ, I don't know how large/heavy Nikon will make it to suit the cine market. I would like Canon to update the 70-200/4...

    dSLR thread

I'm not sure why they are updating the 70-200/2.8 again as it is really very good. 19 PCE seems a bit not so wide, but IQ will probably be great. I'd rather see a 16 mm PCE lens at this point. Meanwhile the Canon 600/4 DO seems to be on the way next year. I suppose there may be a further...

question Differences between Sanyo's AA eneloops and Panasonic's AA eneloops?

Based on the charge times, I expect that the peak power is only temporary. question Differences between Sanyo's AA eneloops and Panasonic's AA eneloops?

Do you have the BQ-CC55? I've been trying to find good, lightweight travel chargers, yet they seem to have one issue or another. That Panasonic one should be fine for four cells at 750mA. However, the charge times listed imply that 1-2 cells would be receiving twice the current of 3-4. If...

    4k TVs and Monitors

The gamut of most prints is usually less than a fine display. 4K is ~8.8MP, so that is more than enough info for a standard photo. If the color is crap, then it's not of much use.
