"Product currently unavailable" :( Shame, I could use about 6 more. Merc probably bought them all :-P Still, this is the first sign of them becoming more affordable. I'll probably hold off buying more big'uns until the 1TB drives ship.

PC Gaming = World of Suck

Battlefield 2142 is the essence of suck. Not only is there in-game advertising. Not only does it retail for $70 anyway. But your CD-Key is mapped to a single account. No more having multiple accounts, or having a friend create an account for when he's at your place. $70 buys you one account and...

    Antec *&^#$##$!! case rant

I'm actually guessing it was an original LanBoy...let's see if I can find a good picture: Ahh...here it is: And yes, it is IMHO the worst case they ever made. I was able to swap the PSU without removing the MoBo, however. IIRC it slides forward, so removing the optical maked it easier.

    Internet safety for parents

I agree completely. I had a client approach me on this subject a while ago. He started asking about software that could make the internet "safe". Power supply wiring colors...

    Power supply wiring colors...

I need to do some pretty serious modding on the power supply for my new system (airflow, cable lengths, connector count, fans, etc). Part of this will be a new wiring harness. Are the voltages/colors of the wires (red, yellow, orange, white, black, blue) an industry standard? I'd like to use the...

That is exactly why I'd like to try ESX. AMD shuips their typical aluminium fin cooler with a decent-sized fan on it. I suspect I'll be able to run without the fan by undervolting my 4200+ 65W. I purchased some Scythe Katana CU coolers what work with AM2, but it won't quite fit in my Antec Aria :(
