    Best 20" LCD display

I'd just like to say that 21.3" is way bigger than 19". I had no idea it would be this big*: Viewsonic VP2130b - 1600x1200, VGA+DVI, 4-port USB hub, 8ms Great base with lots of room for adjustments; about 8" vertical and 270 degrees horizontal. I had to turn the brightness down to 40% even...

I had an Inkjet that held up for years; an HP Deskjet 550C. That sucker never died; it was finally replaced by something with more features, and that did die (so did the countless replacements).

    MP3 - related utilities

Of course. It's the most prevalent audio format out there that is DRM-free. I won't work with WMA or m4a for that reason; FLAC, APE, etc are too fussy when it comes to playback on different devices.

    Newegg hard drive sale

I can't say anything about the 150GB ones, but I've had about 20 36GB failures out of...erm...25 original drives (All in under 3 years). Some of them survived, some replacements failed, but that isn't a good record. The 74GB ones I have have all survived the duration to date.

I asked one of the women in my dance class what type of guy she was after (She's Chinese). Her answer? "Tall white doctor". I think you can tell a lot about what a person is looking for in a relationship by what types of traits they prioritize.

Considering S754 is still very available; I don't think I'd be too worried about S939. Besides, following Mark's suggestions, you'd have enough money to buy many spares. The only technologies I don't expect to see in 3 years would be PATA, AGP, PCI, and DDR.

    When to Build Computer?

Just one observation. If you really want more than 4GB of RAM, you have to make one of 2 hard choices: 1. Buy memory in sticks larger than 1GB 2. Buy a server motherboard with more than 4 DIMM slots Memory in 1GB sizes is $100/GB 2GB sticks are about $150/GB Regular Intel motherboards are...

    Newegg hard drive sale

Well, they're $380 now. I would expect a drop to around $300 by the time the 1TB drives ship (Q1-'07?), and a much slower decline after that. I would actually be surprised if they went that low ($200) within 12 months.
