All of your points against outlook are valid, but in my situation, just don't matter. 1&3 only matter if you have slow computers, and I don't. 2 is a personal preference, I also prefer the reply to be on-top in e-mail unless it gets very complex. 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14 only really...

    Audio Equipment

I'm betting you'll see an ATI All-in-Wonder card that has a sound card built-in before you see some kind of interface between Audio and Video my different mfgs. Most likely of all would probably be an after market box that injects audio into the HDMI line.

Jamba Juice serves a nice product. Like all chain stuff, the marketing is annoying, but I like the Razzmatazz goodness. It's also right across the street from my house, between the Baja Fresh (Mexican) and the mechanic where my car currently resides :(

    Future Chip Cooling Technologies

At that power, a small hotplate (150 square cm) would use 15,000 watts. That would be 136 amps in the US, or enough to trip 4 standard house circuits simultaneously.

NEWZ: ATI / AMD Streams Procesor Unveiled

I'd read that ATI had been working on it, but likely had no really useful way to implement it until AMD/Hypertransport showed up. I didn't think this was really a new technology, just a different architecture/implementation of existing manufacturing technologies. Like having an engine optimized...

    The President's Rumsfeld Lie

It's great. When hearing interviews of the Dems talking about what they'll do now that they have control; you can almost hear them grin when they talk about "oversight" and "accountability". I'm really looking forward to some investigations in the next 2 years.

I've been using Outlook for years. Not because it's the best e-mail client, or because I use all the spiffy features; I don't even have it tied into an exchange server. I use it because all my clients use it, and I need to know how to do stuff with it.

    Audio Equipment

No doubt. I'm sure there is a reason the X-Plosion costs what it does; I'm just observing that I'm not it. For regular 2-channel music, I really can't hear the difference.

    Audio Equipment

I was just screwing around on my computer and decided to enable the on-board "HD Audio" Azalia stuff...It's really, really good. My roomate helped me do a double-blind test of it against my Auzentech X-Plosion card; neither of us could tell the difference reliably.

I can't stand IM; I haven't used it since I stopped dating college girls. Face to face is ideal; but if you don't have my face, don't expect my time. My new system

I've done a number of mods to the Aria already; mainly in the PSU, but also in the rear exhaust area. Now I think I need to open up the front to encourage air past the hard drives. I assume from the nature of the comments so far that 40C is too hot for HDDs?

    My new system

I upgraded the PCI slot fan to Antec's larger (2-slot) multi-speed variant. This leads me to believe that I need better air control rather than just...

Low power, low profile video card?

Low power, low profile video card?

I'm looking for a low-power, PCI-E video card with 1x DVI out. If it was low-profile as well, that would be great. Video quality of VGA @ 1600x1200 just...sucks. I'd would be great if it was an nVidia chipset, as it needs to play well with the on-board 6100 (driving the projector @ 1024x768)...

The comment about Fox was merely an observation, not pertinent to the rest of my post. Obviously I did read the fax, as I observed that the only "WMDs" they found were degraded chemical weapons. So they were old and not nuclear. Of course we knew he used to have chemical weapons; he's being...

    1600x1200 on a 6100?

How do I get 1600x1200 on an integrated 6100 video card? Even 1280x1024 would be nice... Latest drivers; and a few older ones do nothing. Omega has stopped nVidia development. BIOS states that I've allocated 128MB of RAM to video (the maximum), You'd think that would be enough?
