    Cellular Internet Service

I currently have a large phone, and the whole point of getting a phone that can do PAM would be so that the phone doesn't have to be so large. If the phone was going to be Treo-sized, I might just do the work from it.

    Cellular Internet Service

A service I am personally interested in is using bluetooth from my phone to allow unlimited surfing from my laptop. I've read that Verizon (my current provider) has removed this capability from phones that should support it. Is anyone doing this? What provider/phone are you using?

    Cellular Internet Service

I just deployed about 30 USB EV-DO modems with laptops using Sprint's service. Speeds are nice, latency is a bit high. Due to my area (Silicon Valley), coverage is not typical of other areas. There isn't a dead zone for 40 miles.

If it's a wired router that acts as a wireless access point, no. If you want to do fun things like repeat wireless signals, or have 2 wireless zones (secure and insecure) than you need two.

I heard that it was available in Macs now, and just did some reading as well. Looks very cool. The only issue I see is that you need a whole lot of drives to make some of the higher-end features practical.

It seems that this was the biggest accomplishment of SATA power connectors. After them, even Molex is acceptable.

The bulb on my Sharp XR-20X projector burned out at only 50% of it's rated life (~1100 hours). I suspect it got moved around more than was good for it (a few special events). I found a replacement at officeworld.com for ~$340 with free shipping. Ordered it at lunch 2 days ago and it arrived...

What notebooks have decent screens now?

I also prefer 4:3 displays. The thing I do most often with my computer is read columns of text. This will always be easier with more vertical screen space, horizontal space makes very little difference. Also, consider word processing/other office applications. The menu and toolbars are on the...
