    Getting In Shape

Keep lifting weights, but eat a lot more protein. Eggs are an excellent, natural way to get protein. Plus, animal protein have several amino acids that plant protein doesn't have. Which is why eggs are a much better source for protein than most protein shakes, which are usually made soy. I'm...

    An open letter to Hewlett-Packard

I had a LJ 6L for about 5 years that worked fairly well. I finally decided to get a new printer when it would grab about 20 pages at once when you tried to print something. If you keep it full of paper it still works fine, but when there are less than 30 sheets in it then it has the feeding...

    An open letter to Hewlett-Packard

I have a LJ5 that I bought last year for $230, plus it only had about 6000 pages on it at the time. It has been working really well since I got it, but I have only printed between 2000-3000 pages on it since then. I am guessing that it will last me for a long time to come.

[NEWS] MSI and Gigabyte In Merger Talks

I've used Gigabyte motherboards that were utterly unstable too you know. Your MSI board was probably just bad. Every manufacturer makes a board that needs to be sent back once in a while.

    Best movie you've seen

For comedy I would have to say that Dumb and Dumber ranks pretty high on my list. As do most of the National Lampoons series. Christmas Vacation, Summer Vacation, European Vacation, Vegas Vacation. They're all good.

    Best movie you've seen

I can't believe no on mentioned Trainspotting. A great movie in my opinion. I also like Requiem for a Dream. I read both books and considering that they were books first, the screenplays are very well done. I have only seen the Godfather series once, but they are truly great, especially the...

Terminator 2 in Hi Def, upgrade your CPU

Those are some really good quality clips. It would be around 8GB for a 2 hour movie based on the first clip. I have to say subjectively that looks about twice as good as DVD to me.

    MP3 portable players

I spent a lot of time on an iPod forum trying to get the stupid iPod to work. The consensus at the time was that the SIIG card works best with the iPod. And, it works fine now, but why does the iPod need to be so picky? Why can't it work with any firewire card? Sounds like pretty poor design...

    MP3 portable players

My dad bought a 20GB iPod last Christmas. It is cool, but the software they include sucks real hard. It's based on MusicMatch, which is pretty crappy if you ask me. You can get xplay which works better, but it is anything but foolproof. Not to mention the fact that the iPod is incredibly...

    Grado SR60 - Excellent headphones

I only paid $110 for my HD580's from eBay, but the cables were broken so I had to spend and extra $20 replacing them. I never got to hear these headphones before I bought them, but I haven't been disappointed. I paid $790 for the 2.5i's, which I think was a pretty good deal at the time. I...

    Grado SR60 - Excellent headphones

I have a pair of Sennheiser HD580s that I bought a couple years ago. They are still the best pair of headphones that I have ever heard. And I can wear them for hours if need be with no fatigue. I still prefer to listen through my NHT 2.5i's but they are big and make lots of noise, so...

Ever wanted to know the thoughts of car fans?

It has nothing to do its Deutsch Heritage. I simply have had nothing but bad experiences with VWs in general. Not that my experience with other car companies is all great. But, the VW experience was not a good one at all. I have a couple friends that have VWs and I swear those things have...

Ever wanted to know the thoughts of car fans?

I guess you have never been in a soft-top Jeep at highway speeds. Any car in the world is better than that. The Mustang I had was loud as hell on the highway too, but it didn't really bother me. The Jeep on the other hand is too much I can't handle it anymore it's just too damn loud. I'm...

Im 6 foot 2 so this might not fit me all that well. Plus the Mazda 6 nicely loaded is more like $24,000 not $20,000. The SRT already comes with every option I would want for $19,995. I really can't afford the extra $4,000. To top it all off the 6 is fairly boring looking. Did any of you...

Ever wanted to know the thoughts of car fans?

First of all if I buy a car it can't cost that much money. I have ruled out used cars because I want something with a long manufacturers warranty. The SRT has a 7 year 70,000 mile powertrain warranty. I'm open to suggestions on any new car under $20,000 that isn't slow as snot and has a...
