The woot off is still on. Man I love woot off. I wish I would have been awake for this. I could use a new receiver on the cheap.

    Something Random

Someone else sent me that video and I really didn't think it was funny. It takes more than an icon yelling wheee to make me laugh. I like humor with substance or at least a high level of cynicism and sarcasm.

woot is in woot off mode

I think woot tricked me into buying a WD drive. I wouldn't normally have done it, but, it was only $50 for a 250gb drive.

There are multiple viruses, worms, etc that call themselves waol.exe. Run virus and spyware/adware scanners on the computer to determine what you need to do to remove it.

    Dell De-Crapifier

Sometimes Dell runs deals that are amazing enough that even geeks would buy them. However, I would promptly format the hard drive rendering this tool useless. I guess I could recommend it to friends if they were to buy Dell.

Another Digital Camera Thread - Point and Shoot

I think the reason that so many people do not like this store is that after you order they will call you and try to upsell. Do you need a memory card, tripod, extra battery, etc??? If you know how to say no forcefully you should be fine. Like I said he got the camera and it works, which is what...

Another Digital Camera Thread - Point and Shoot

Other than the memory card not coming in the box he didn't have any problems. He ordered and had it shipped next day and he got it next day. I probably wouldn't care enough about a 16mb memory card to care anyways. If you want the name of the dealer I can ask him.

I would buy it, but I don't feel like I want to spend close to $20 on a hardcover book. Plus, I hate hardcover books, they are too heavy to read properly.

    MP3 player rant

I have been using LG phones since 2001. I highly recommend them. Just because LG makes crappy CD-ROMs doesn't mean they make crappy cell phones. LG is a large company; their computer equipment is probably designed and manufactured by a completely different division than their cell phones.

If the dealership makes you feel that way, find another dealership. I have had dealerships treat me like shit before. Guess what? I didn't buy a car from there. I bought my car from the dealership/salesman that treated me with respect and trust. The second time I was at the dealer looking at...
