    Something Random

In regards to Mercutio's post a few up. If you think that is interesting you should really read American Theocracy. I am about 3/4 done and with each page I become more scared. Too bad I don't speak German or I would move there.

You Make the Call: Coin Collector or Future Copper Mogul

I think there is a higher chance that a copper penny is rare than a zinc one. This would aid in sorting through hundreds of pennies very quickly.

I think you will see even more progress if you start lifting now. Having more muscle will increase your metabolism. Your weight probably won't drop if you start lifting, but you will have less fat %, which is what you want in order to be healthier. Keep running too though, cardio is important...

what it really costs to drive a car

I spend about $4500 a year owning a car that I drive about 2 times per month. I still owe about $6000 on it. So, it wouldn't make a lot of sense to sell it at this point. The interest rate on the loan is 0.9%, so I am paying very little in interest. If I get married I will go down to one car. No...

    Walmart's $598 ECS Wonder-Laptop

Interesting. I wonder if they will sell stuff through their online store as well. I do hate Walmart in principal, but if their price is low enough, even I can be convinced.

    Despised software, anyone?

iTunes is free. I don't pay for things unless I HAVE to. If I only open iTunes about once a month and use it for 10 minutes or less should I spend money on something else? It is not like I am supporting Apple by using it. In fact it probably costs THEM money for me to download the latest...

I would definitely like to discuss it here. But, we need to get a few more people to read it. We already know that Mercutio owns the book. Anyone else interested in reading American Theocracy? I will even offer to ship the book to anyone in the continental USA via USPS media mail once I am...

Does anyone understand how Frontpage and Access interact?

I bet you already know more than you think you do. Designing a good website is more about implementing things you like from other sites. Things to keep in mind: - use a navigation scheme that makes sense - Easy to read, simple design is good - Meta tags are good, use them - good art can make...

Since American Theocracy deals with current events it would be a good idea to start reading it as soon as possible, especially since you already own it. Many of the events that the author writes about happened in late 2005. The book will still be relevant later, but it will have the largest...

Hosting a website? Costs? Setup? etc...

My point remains. If you want a site that is: "added to easily, spell checked, and modified easily" then you need to set it up in a content management system. Unless you want to teach your user how to write html in notepad and teach them about apache directory structure and how to use FTP.

Hosting a website? Costs? Setup? etc...

I think you need to talk with a professional web developer. That site looks like it is straight out of 1998. A good firm can redesign the site and build it to work with a content management system that will make updates simple for a non-technical person. There are a multitude of content...
