Creation Date of user in Windows

My guess is that the creation date for the user's folder in the "documents and settings" folder would work as an easy solution. If it is not natively displayed, simply right click the column settings in the documents and settings window.

    Dell De-Crapifier

I'm sorry but contrary to the popular view here, I see a usefull market served by Dell. I would much prefer seeing all those people that buy white box machines from Office Depot, Circuit City, and the like, buying Dell which in my opinion is a better, or at least an equivilent, product at a...

    Codec/Spyware from Hell

I'm starting to think that the OS needs to monitor its own validity and be self-repairing, so that nothing that is not of the OS can claim to be part of the OS. Of course, to prevent external incorporation into the monitoring and self-repair process it would have to be encrypted.

    Ultra low-end dilemma.

The machine is running Windows 2003 Server. Yes, it could go dual core and operate with 8 cores but the cost of upgrading it isn't justified considering it is way over powered for what it does right now. Currently, it is running 4x846 (an 846 is roughly a 2800).

    Ultra low-end dilemma.

Celerons D's are just plain slow: My experiance is that they make XP 2500's look and feel speedy. I'd go for the Semperon 2500 every time even though it is slower than an XP 2500+ because it is not that much slower (I'd say it is roughly equivilent to a 2300+ XP) I disagree with Tannin, P4's...

I'm starting to get annoyed with Dell Tech Support

It appears that Dell was sending me the correct PS's, but they were switched to 240V operation. They refused to allow me to switch it myself (It had a seal over the switch), but I did anyway and by golly, it worked. What a pain, for such a simple solution.

The machine isn't critical and even beyond that, it runs fine with the old PS because it is only a noisey fan and they commonly operate for months like that before failure. Replacing the PS with a standard is not possible -- Dell likes to run custom wiring to the MB to ensure that both the PS...

It is always nice to have a very fast lens, highly stopped down to give you an increased focal range. But, the range will still be very small, no matter what the lens. So, when doing macro work, you need to learn that blowing through the focal range of the lens is gonna happen. Effectively...

Just as an incidental P=VI = (120V) (3A) = 360W and that is well within the 510W PS you have (Which is a very high quality unit).
