Ferrite rings...do you use them when you assemble a case?

Don't have a pic. The last three Antec cases I worked with had them (two were 3700AMB, one Sonota) included in the box with the bag of screws, drive rails, case badge etc etc. Maybe I'm mistaking something else?

Howell, the story gets even funnier. Last night I was wondering if their was any simple options that could be used with xmltv so that it would grab ever more detailed program info, so I took a look at the options of the tv_grab_na filter. I think this actually has the very functionality...

Ferrite rings...do you use them when you assemble a case?

The little O rings that are included in the bag of screws with cases. Your supposed to use them on case connector wires (power, usb, etc) near that mobo header.

    burnatonce & Burrrn

I just came across a bug in burnatonce. When mastering a disc, if you use the "add folder" option, then any files within your selected directory (or within any of its child directories) which possess the "hidden" attribute will not be included in the compilation (although drag'n'droping into...

Bah, have ye no faith? :) One of the stores offereing preordering is apparently listing a Mar10th ETA for the Aria itself....that doesn't say much, and Antec delievery schedules have a history of being a moving target....nonetheless, if true, then hopefully it will gain widespread availability...

Thinking about this over dinner tonight, I guess the reasons why I haven't bothered with Task Scheduling in a long time (in fact I have the service disabled) are: - when I first got W2K, I found that Task Scheduling often did not work when it should have. Apparently that bug has long been...

Precisely the the former. No bearing on the content. If it helps, xmltv can be downloaded from Sourceforge and inside the package the text file xmltv.dtd outlines the format of the xml listings file generated by xmltv.exe. However, before the EPG can use the info contained in the xml...

Firewire won't die. Its too entrenched in A/V. It most likely will be pushed aside in terms of tradional peripheral devices (drives, scanners etc) though. But it may make big gains if it ends up becoming the interconnect of choice between HD displays and devices (STB, computers, HD-DVD...

Their explaination certainly doesn't shed any light on the matter. Yep. I discovered this fun out about a year and a half ago when I got ghost2k3 (bundled in NSW Pro). It was very, very frustrating at first. I discovered that if Windows is allowed to "see" a new drive, it writes something like a 6 byte signature to the drive's mbr. So if you then go on to...
