    AMD for Dell

I find it so very ironic that Dell has been solely supplying Intel solutions during the entire time that P4's/Xeons were so obviously inferior to AMD x64/Opteron/X2 and now that Intel has Has the Core2Duo which is obviously superior to AMD solutions, out comes the first Dell AMD machines: the...

The technology behind that is impressive. The ability to scan the surrondings and tell which finger is doing what to the virtual keyboard must take some serious computing power and all in the size of a matchbook. It's a shame that the converters's don't work well. They really would be a convienant and cost effective solution. I'm finding that while running F@H the stock cooling for X2 4600+ are running too hot (61-64 celcius) for my comfort level and the fans are too whiney at their maximum 5100rpms...

From the reviews I read, there is no performance hit except their Gigabit Ethernet solution uses a bit more CPU than the high end boards.
