uhhhhhhh you can put 2 120gb drives in a tivo easily. my roommate got a 14hr tivo for beans, bough a lifetime subscription, and put 2 80gb drives in it a year or two ago - that was my inspiration to buy one when i moved somewhere else. i have an upgraded tivo series2.

windowsupdate only automatically applies critical updates, not optional ones or drivers it also takes some time before whql drivers propagate to the site
