IIRC: It's the current install of 2000. I remember it was sluggish when I 98 on it with Maxtor 5120 boot drive. The LM seems to have helped, and, I suspect whoever did the bios did an outstanding job. Anyone know who does the bios for Dell, and it maybe it's just good Intel chipsets, with good...

Well, I just can't see putting that kind of money into laptops. I've got two, one a Panasonic Cf-37 toughbook, I use most of the time, and the other is a Lombard, Mac. I paid two grand for both, with a bunch of add on's for the mac jacking the price up. They still work, and with current hard...

The installer for palm pilot is idiotic, or doesn't like XP. I've tried it with SP 2, and had it installed without, but another program fuxored the settings, FirstClassless, and I can't return them to normal, even after deleting them. Appears FC deletes the originals, installing it's on path...

Just checked Costco.com and no hard drives I could find right now. Try going to Costco, and see what they have. Picked up a 160 gig Quaxtor DM9, 5 year warranty for about 130 dollars, with a promiseless card, and cable included. Drive is middle of the road fast enough. By the way, the current...
