    question Which Tablets

It can be, but I doubt (without evidence) that actual battery capacity is directly mapped to the number of bars on the display. I suspect that, in the interest of protecting device batteries from users, devices are powered down before complete discharge.

    Some work on my A3

Considering the color of the car, I'm having second thoughts about matte black wheels. Gunmetal Grey appears to be almost exactly the same color as the body (don't forget I'm occasionally slightly colorblind...if someone could check that for me it would be great) and might be interesting.

According to Peter @ Forgestar, the closest dealer is Sonic Motorsports in Mountain View, just down the street from the McLaren dealership. Off goes an e-mail to them.

I've already e-mailed Forgestar looking for a local authorized dealer, though I'll also talk to my favorite local shop to see if they can handle it. I usually order from Tire Rack and have the local shop to the install, how much research have you done into online sellers of the Forgestar? How...

    Some work on my A3

Now that my hopes of a 2013 S4 are gone, I'm considering making some changes to my current car to make it a bit quicker. 2011 Audi A3 Premium Quattro Titanium Sport Package (18" wheels and lower/stiffer suspension) Cold Weather Package (heated front seats/side mirrors) Bluetooth Value Package...

    Kepler GPU GeForce GTX 680

There are two markets for their last generation of cards. The largest is hardcore gamers. The other is using them for large scale scientific computing. This was awesome for the geeks, because (due to economies of scale) cards that would otherwise be special and very expensive weren't. Now...

It's complicated, and I really can't talk about it. It is legal, and theoretically discretionary, but not optional in my current circumstances. Just a but frustrating as you might imagine. As soon as my current tires wear out (soon) I'll be ordering those Forgestar wheels in the appropriate...

Quite so. I just cut a check for $25k that I wasn't expecting and will get nothing out of. That was the down payment for the S4 that would have made the monthly something I could deal with. Financing the whole thing basically doubles the monthly payment, and I can't deal with that. At this point...

My new helmet must attract bees. Twice this morning they flew into my helmet, got stuck, and stung the top of my head. Sucks. For a moment I was concerned, having never been stung, that I might have an adverse reaction all alone in the boonies. Nope, doesn't even hurt anymore.

The Campagnolo stuff is excellent. Of course, anything made by the major manufacturers within the last decade will be lighter/faster, made from carbon fiber with ceramic bearings. My dream wheels at the moment are the Zipp Firecrest 404s shame they cost more than my bike.

    Best CPU Benchmarks?

Within a processor family you don't need benchmarks for these, either. Performance scales fairly linearly with clock speed.

    Best CPU Benchmarks?

I don't check benches either. By default I go to the latest architecture/process/socket, and then choose either: 1. The fastest. 2. The best bang/buck 3. The cheapest This is determined exclusively by clock speed and price at the time. Occasionally there is variable cache to worry about, and I...

If you mean for duplicating a configured VM and then changing the key to another you have, 2008 and 7 will let you do that in the "Computer Properties" screen after the clone. For the record, the Zalman CNPS11x Performa is a great cooler. A pair of them (in series - one takes in the exhaust of the other) are able to keep a pair of 150W E5-2687W CPUs (at 100% load 24/7) between 55C and 68C very quietly. I'll second that. An exhaust is mostly noisy behind you, where it doesn't matter. Office suites other than LibreOffice / MS Office

I completely agree. That might explain why I've never heard of G-Data. The other office suites I've heard of are all based on OpenOffice/LibreOffice, and will likely have the same issues. Unless you want to go the Google Apps route and use their word processor and spreadsheet stuff.
