The external box has 4x CP1270 batteries. I suppose they can be replaced easily. The internals are a different brand, but have the same dimensions. A quick online search indicates numerous batteries are available with 7, 7.5,8 or even 9 Ah in the same size with the F2 terminals. Does the...

That would make more sense on a dedicated oval track. I don't know how all the vehicles would receive enough energy and what effect all that electromagnetic radiation would have on the driver or spectators. My one and only experience at a race track was negative due to the excessively loud...

Batteries don't hold very much energy density compared to fuels, so they need to be able to swap battery packs quickly throughout a normal race.

They do need better resolution, faster refresh, better brightness range, and lower power. Ass of now the battery drain is horrific when waiting on a subject. A DSLR uses no power to look through. Timelapse Video

I don't hate it, but it is just not so interesting and the distortion is so terribly obvious. Maybe it would be better if they put a camera on a more interesting vessel so that there were no cargo containers in the foreground the whole time. 10 minutes is too long for this type of short.

The new Sigma 100-400/6.3 is better than the old Canon 100-400, but it does not have a lens collar option. :( At least the Tamron for 2018 has that option. Tamron lenses are indeed not up to Sigma standards lately, but Sigma has been producing some optically better lenses than Nikon or Canon...
