I guess it needs the UEFI only. Also, there is no USB, so the mouse and keyboard don't work. :frusty:

    LED flashlights

The MH20GT is better for reach than the P10GT and of course the large reflector of the MH25GT makes it a real thrower. It looks to have the emitter/reflector of the EC4GT with single cell power. Any light with over 30,000 cd intensity will be bright at a good distance, and it goes up from there. ;)

I thought about it back in the 80s, but did not want to deal with the ventilation issues. I think they have some electric vents now, but am not sure about the building regulations.

    LED flashlights

I don't like the crenelated flashlights, but look for one that has an XP-L High (a version of the XP-L emitter with no dome). In comparison a light with the common XM-L2 emitter will have a much broader beam or require a proportionally larger reflector for the same tight beam.

Are you using them for prototyping, low volume/one off production or what? Everything isn't best manufactured on a printer. There are good reasons that, oragsmistamped, cast and CNC killed parts are so commonly used.

    question New Computer

I found the manual for the case. I will put everything together on the floor (case is >1500 miles from here) and see what happens. :) The plan is to use Windows 7 on the system initially and then change to 10 in summer or autumn of 2018. Trying to coordinate schedules is difficult since I...

    It's definitely a version of the Earthwatts 380W PSU, though not the current painted green one. - 3.4" (H) x 5.9" (W) x 5.5" (D) - 86 mm (H) x 150 mm (W) x 140 mm (D) What brands are recommended lately? Reviews indicate many PSUs fail or produce high frequency whine. I don't remember them...

    question New Computer

I'll try to find some info on the PS. I'm not sure how many 380W they made, but it was a regular ATX PS. I suspect that the smallest current 500W PS would fit.

    question New Computer

There will be a Z270 board, max of three HDDs, one optical drive and two reused small SSDs. I may upgrade it to an M.2 eventually. There will be 2x8GB RAM for now and maybe two more in 2018. Prices are high now. There is no video in the system.

I'm receiving a 6700K, but it doesn't appear to have a cooler. What is fairly small/low profile HSF to fit in a mATX case? The CPU will probably be set to 4.2 on all cored, no more. Thanks.

The Android has a mind of its own. :dunno: Some kind of NiMH pack would be normal for that era. I recall we would be issued some crude laptops for travel back in 1995 with some kind of dongle for the dial-ups. We had to turn them in on return and they would be reinitialized or whatever...

6 cores has been a decent number for a while and those CPUs were quite expensive not all that long ago. People who can't afford or justify a $370 CPU should be using an i5 or something else rather than complaining about it.
